THE NAPCEN REPORT
NAPCEN reports are performed to meet or exceed all current national credentialing organizational guidelines for health plans as they pertain to primary source verification.
A practitioner credentialing and/or recredentialing summary report confirms each of following primary source verification elements:
- Current valid licensure
- Staff affiliation at primary admitting facility
- DEA certification
- Board certification or graduation from medical school and completion of a residency
(*graduate education/training verification performed at time of credentialing only*) - Current malpractice liability insurance and claims history
- National Practitioner Data Bank query
- State Board Sanctions/Restrictions and/or limitations
- DHHS Medicare/Medicaid status
NAPCEN reports are designed to meet all current NCQA and URAC credentialing requirements for health plans as they pertain to primary source verification. Standard turnaround time is thirty (30) to sixty (60) calendar days, regardless of volume. NAPCEN summary reports include photocopies of primary source documentation. NAPCEN summary reports can be performed on any type of licensed or certified health care practitioner. NAPCEN summary report data is available in either hard copy form or via our newly designed web based system. Information regarding facility/institutional credentialing can be provided upon request. Volume discounts are available.
Please check the NAPCEN Report box on the Information Request for additional information on credentialing services.
